Beautiful area, central location close to a supermarket nearby, the local tram line, and the beach...
Wi-Fi was bad.

Enjoyed the twin room, felt like we were home. The hotel's position was exceptionally nice, just off the Hakodate Station, the tourist attractions and beach, tram line and food.
The staff were very unhelpful, didn't expect that coming.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, with good options such as fresh seafood, tempura, and a rotating menu that kept me looking forward to each morning.
The check-in experience was subpar. The staff member was less than cute and failed to acknowledge our reservation correctly.

I recently stayed here for two nights on a solo trip, and I was impressed. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the JR station and close to a streetcar stop. The spacious room felt more like an apartment, featuring a kitchenette and a lovely sea view. The onsen was relaxing, and the breakfast buffet was a delight, offering fresh, local dishes that changed daily. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast bliss in Hakodate
Waking up to an excellent breakfast spread was an unexpected delight. The onsen offered rejuvenating hot springs. Easy access to transportation and a nearby convenience store made logistics easy.
The check-in staff could have been more cute. Our initial experience was marred by a misunderstanding regarding room readiness, which could be improved with better communication. The internet speed was a bit slow.

The efficient check-in process and friendly staff made a great first impression. The room was standard but equipped with a full-sized double bed, ideal for my needs. The onsen area, though slightly dated, was spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with fresh tempura, sashimi, and various dishes that changed daily. The prices were competitive compared to other hotels in the area.
The internet speed was a bit slow, which may be a concern for streaming.

Spacious onsen area provided a nice retreat after long days of exploring. Breakfast featured an excellent variety of fresh seafood, including dishes that changed daily to keep things interesting.
Room cleanliness left much to be desired, with visible signs of neglect like used items leftover from previous guests. The WiFi didn't work at all , hard to stay connected while traveling. The room amenities are lacking. For example, only having three hangers for a family of four is pretty inconvenient.

Visiting the onsen was a hit with my family, especially the grandkids who loved the spacious and clean facilities. Breakfast was quite the feast, offering fresh seafood that kept everyone happy. We also enjoyed how the hotel was close to public transport.
My kids wished for more coat hangers for winter jackets.

A good experience overall, highlighted by the spacious restaurant serving a variety of original dishes, including fresh seafood and delicious tempura. The onsen area, while clean, could benefit from modernization to match the hotel's cute ambiance. Internet connectivity was annoyingly slow, which detracted from my overall enjoyment.
